Qld: Candidate says Nazi controversy distracted National Party

BRISBANE, Feb 8 AAP - Dan Van Blarcom, the National Party candidate who was disendorsed
over his alleged links with the Nazi party, believes the Nationals were distracted by
the controversy during the state election.
Mr Van Blarcom, who stood as an independent in the Queensland election, ran third in
the seat of Whitsunday, which was retained by Labor's Jan Jarratt.
