Fiber node adds bandwidth.(Brief Article)

ATLANTA--Scientific-Atlanta has introduced its GainMaker fiber deep node, designed to take advantage of available bandwidth as operators begin to push fiber deeper into their networks. In particular, the node is targeted to less than 250-home-node architectures.

The node features two or three outputs, up to 38 dB of gain, and optical components compatible with Prisma 6940 nodes and GainMaker accessories.
