Fed: Economic downturn hurting Aussie relationships: poll
A new survey shows the global financial crisis is putting strain on relationships.
The International Savings Census survey of a thousand people worldwide has found the
economic downturn has added stress to the relationships of almost one in four Australian.
Couples in other countries are holding up better .. with only 12 per cent feeling the
strain in Germany .. 18 per cent in Spain and 18 per cent in the United Kingdom.
American couples have been the hardest hit with 29 per cent complaining the downturn
has caused problems.
TNS conducted the survey on behalf of ING Direct and quizzed people in an online poll
in Australia .. Canada .. Spain .. France .. the United States .. Italy .. Germany ..
Austria and the United Kingdom.
